Born in Germany, Ursula Tramski completed a three year apprenticeship before moving to Ireland in 1998. Over the next 11 years she worked as a production thrower in various potteries. In 2001, together with a group of international potters, she became involved in building and firing the West Kerry Anagama Kiln. Many potters have taken part in firing the kiln over the last eight years and the pots Ursula has made have been exhibited both in Ireland and internationally. In 2008 Ursula setup her Ballineanig ceramic studio and gallery where she now creates her works and runs various workshops.
